The CPS team enjoyed attending the League of California Cities New Law Conference, where our CFO, Claude Schott, and VP of Sales, Jamie Dunn, enthusiastically and expertly represented us. This annual event brings together clerks, other municipal leaders, Industry professionals, and innovators from across the state to discuss the latest in municipal governance and law.
A Sweet Giveaway
In true CPS style, we made our booth a little sweeter by giving away three 2-pound boxes of chocolate to lucky attendees. The giveaway was a hit, drawing a steady stream of visitors to our booth. Sharing some deliciousness while chatting with colleagues, clients, and prospective partners was terrific in a lively and collaborative environment.
Making Connections That Matter
One of the conference's highlights was catching up with familiar faces. Several valued clients dropped by to say hello, offering updates on their projects and sharing feedback on how CPS continues to impact their operations. Building and maintaining these relationships is at the heart of what we do, and seeing our clients in person consistently reinforces the importance of our work together.
In addition to reconnecting with current clients, the conference opened the door to potential new collaborations. Jamie and Claude’s engaging presence and deep understanding of municipal challenges sparked conversations that could lead to exciting projects in the near future. The energy around these discussions was contagious; we’re optimistic about the opportunities ahead.

Looking Ahead
As we unpack from the conference and review the event's successes, we’re already planning for the future. The connections made, ideas shared, and projects discussed will shape the next steps we take in partnership with our clients and communities across California.
